Free Anonymous VPN
Hey everyone, today I’m going to tell you guys about VPNBook. It’s an amazing VPN that doesn’t require any registration, and it’s also free! Here’s a complete list of features :-
No Bandwidth Limits
Strongest Encryption
100% Anonymity
Although this VPN is a little tricky to set up, I will guide you through the proccess.
1.) First off, lets download the open-source OpenVPN client. You can pick that up at this link :
http://openvpn.net/index.php/ download/ community-downloads.html
2.) Once it’s downloaded, run it and install it on to your system.
3.) This is where it gets a bit tricky. You will need to download an
OpenVPN certificate, which you can pick up here :-
http://www.vpnbook.com/
4.) Download any certificate you want, and navigate to C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config
5.) Extract your certificate to the config folder
6.) Navigate to C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\bin right click on openvpn-gui-1.0.3.exe, click on Properties, go to the Compatibility tab and check the box that says Run this program as administrator.
7.) Double click openvpn-gui-1.0.3.exe to open it.
8.) Go find the OpenVPN GUI icon in your icon tray (located at the bottom right of your screen), and click Connect.
9.) You will be prompted login credentials. Don’t worry! They can be found at the same link that you downloaded your certificate from!
10.) Just login with the credentials at that link (in this case Username: vpnbook / Password: STas9A5a ), and you will be connected!
